If your website is about animals, try to make your links to sites relevant to your niche or industry. Grammar: An important signal that makes the quality of the content and the page in the eyes of Google. Not only does it make for a better user experience but also the fact that your content was not created by bots or is the result of spinning other people's content. Syndicated Content: Speaking of spinning content… if the information you share on your blog or website is copied or (too) similar to that of other sites, then you will NOT get a good ranking and, perhaps, you will not even be indexed. Optimized for Mobile: One of Google's most recent updates was to reward those pages that were optimized for mobile devices, giving them a certain advantage over those that were not.

Number of Internal Links: The number of links pointing to a particular page indicates the importance of that page, which can help it rank higher on Google. Quality of Internal Links: Internal links with a certain authority or PageRank have more strength than those links from pages that do not have a low rating in that sense.
